MB Packology Solutions supplies packaging materials to food and industrial manufacturers across the European Union and the EEA. The people behind the company have worked in the packaging industry for more than a decade. We operate from Kaunas, and the materials are produced to our specification by our manufacturing partners, Europe's foremost packaging plants.

Background

Why the company exists

A food manufacturer rarely has a problem with one material. The problem is that the film comes from one plant, the trays from another, the board from a third and the labels from a fourth – and each of them only talks about its own product. Nobody checks whether the lidding matches the tray flange, whether the case fits the pallet module, or whether the label adhesive holds on the particular film that was proposed.

MB Packology Solutions works in exactly that gap. We select the materials across several European manufacturers, match them to one another, put the documentation in order and deliver them as one consignment with one packing list.

Our core sector is meat and processed meat – the sector with the tightest barrier and sealing requirements and the fastest lines. The other sectors grew out of it: fish, dairy, bakery, fruit and vegetables, and general industrial.

What we do, and how it works

What we do

  • Specify the material against the product, the line and the shelf life required
  • Buy from certified European manufacturers and trade lead time and price across them
  • Supply film under the Packoclear private label
  • Prepare the full shipping document set, including export and customs requirements
  • Maintain batch traceability and handle claims against a named production batch

How it works

  • Production runs at our partner plants in Lithuania and Poland, to our specification
  • Production certification is issued by the manufacturer; we verify it is current and supply it with the shipment
  • We put a material forward once we know the line it has to run on

How we work

    Reliability

    Supply security starts with the supplier's financial position. Ours was independently assessed by UAB “Creditinfo Lietuva” in 2025.

    Transparency

    The certificates belong to the manufacturers, and we say so plainly. The certificate number we provide always points to the plant where the material was made.

    Partnership

    There is no need to move the whole supply at once. Most relationships start with a single item, and with whether it runs on your line.

    Speed

    Enquiries that come with the machine and cycle data are answered fastest, because the material can be specified straight away without a further exchange.

Our manufacturing partners

We work directly with Europe's foremost packaging plants in Lithuania and Poland. Films and barrier structures are made by RETAL Baltic Films in Klaipėda and Supravis in Poland; polyethylene films and recycled-content products by Umaras; corrugated board by DS Smith Packaging Lithuania. We work with V&T on packaging components and labelling.

All operations are run from Kaunas. Our relationships with manufacturers, buyers and commercial agents in other countries are trading, supply and agency relationships.

Commercial agents

Commercial representation across several markets

MB Packology Solutions works with independent commercial agents who represent the company in Spain, Greece, Poland and Lithuania. An enquiry in those markets is taken by an agent who works with the company, and the specification, the quotation and the shipping documents are prepared by MB Packology Solutions in Kaunas. Commercial representation therefore reaches Southern, Central and Northern Europe, while responsibility for the transaction stays in one place.

The agents are independent parties working with the company under commercial agreements. All operations are run from the single registered establishment in Kaunas, where quotations, contracts and shipping documents are prepared, and MB Packology Solutions is the contracting party in every market.

Financial standing

On 23 July 2025 MB Packology Solutions received Creditinfo’s “Strongest in Lithuania” 2025 certificate. It is awarded for the fifteenth season, and the certificate states that the company has a high credit score. The assessment draws on filed financial statement data, solvency indicators and payment history. For a trading partner it means something straightforward: the contract is with a company whose financial position has been assessed by an independent credit bureau.
